This is a camp created for all generations—a place where children\, teenagers\, and adults gather to sing\, dance\, and grow together in a relaxed\, caring atmosphere. \nThe Heart of the Camp\nAt the center of our circle are the Dances of Universal Peace. Born from the Sufi tradition\, these danced prayers help us soften the boundaries between us\, moving toward a lived experience of unity. From the ecstatic devotion of Zikr to the soulful harmonies of the Harmonic Temple\, we find our way back to the heart through sound and movement. \nA Tapestry of Wisdom & Healing\nWe honor spirituality in all its many-splendoured forms. Throughout the week\, you can explore: \nDiverse Traditions: Hindu Bhajans\, Buddhist mindfulness\, Aramaic prayer\, Native American Earth-based spirituality\, and Druidry. \nVillage Traditions: Every evening as the sun sets\, our live band strikes up for Circle Dancing from Macedonia\, Greece\, Brittany\, and beyond. \nInner Growth: Dedicated sessions for psychological healing and personal development\, including Family Constellations\, Sufi meditation\, and Heart Intelligence. \nCommunity Resilience: Exploratory discussions on building adaptive\, local communities to meet the challenges of climate change. \nFor Families\, Children & Teens\nDancing Spirit is a true family camp. We offer dedicated daily programs led by experienced teams: \nUnder 5s: A dedicated “tent play space” (with parent/guardian). \nChildren: Two main daily sessions in the Creativity Area featuring crafts\, storytelling\, and games. \nTweens & Teens (10–16): A separate program and tent focused on sports (like volleyball)\, creative workshops\, and building friendship. \nLife on the Land\nOur camp is more than a series of workshops; it is an experiment in harmonious living. DESCRIPTION:Only if we are united\, do we stand a chance to overcome the global problems we face as humanity. It’s time to heal the fragmentations of society and use our differences as an enrichment rather than an impediment to our harmonic presence on Earth. \nThis year\, 2025\, the International Dances of Universal Peace Camp is taking place in Thailand for the second time after its first time in 2022. This is an opportunity for practitioners from around the world to meet\, to exchange\, and learn from each other through dancing and connection circles. \nWe invite anyone who is interested in Dances of Universal Peace (DUP) to come and experience this transformative practice in the Thai hospitality next to Thailand’s oldest national park in the Central part of Thailand. You will meet with practitioners\, dance leaders\, and trainers who\, after the 7-day camp\, will be your friends. You will also have the chance to deepen your practice as a life-long learner\, a peace activist\, a DUP dance-leader in training\, or an Earth warrior. \n\n\n\n\nWangree Resort is our camp venue for this year. We will go through 4 different locations from central to northern Thailand. You will experience an “off-the-beaten-path” journey through Thailand that the normal travel tours will not take you to.
